The Raimond lights: perfect spheres of mathematical ingredients punctuated by tiny LED lights. The transparent lenses are specially detailed to spread warm white light in every direction. Looking at the light feels like staring into the soft glow of a starry night. Into the essence. Inspired by the geodesic dome, designed by Buckminster Fuller, the Raimond lights are the result of almost forty years of research and dedication of mechanical engineer and self-taught designer Raimond Puts (1937 – 2012). Raimond Puts was not only intrigued by the shape of the geodesic dome, but also with the mystery of prime numbers. It’s no coincidence that the dimension of all Raimond lights resemble a prime number. The result of mathematical perfection, that brings the starry night sky into your home.
